I wonder how accurate the advice on that last page is? About describing the scenery, I mean. I just wonder because I could see that sounding patronizing, like "hey listen to all these cool things you can't see". But I admit I really don't know, and clearly the author has some experience here.

@Tersione Well, to be fair she isn't without hope yet for romance either. He has someone he likes, but that and being with someone are different beasts entirely. Meanwhile a lot of couples started as friends. They could quite organically end up together while just trying to be good friends. I can't say she was specifically hoping for this either just from what we saw, so it's not like she's getting closer to him under false pretenses really either which is a good thing I suppose.
