Yumekui Merry - Vol. 21 Ch. 123 - Next Dream

That ancient meme video reference on those last few pages. Way to make me feel old lol. Thanks for the translation as always~!

We have a mega folder for our releases now, by the way, if you ever wanted to download them.
The link is on our group page.

I bet they are all one being instead of separate beings. Cause mushrooms are just one large connected plant-- err fungi. SO they are not actually siblings, they are the same person. Though I don't know how that will play in to anything, but whatever. At least this fun guys.

@Tainters
The choices were suggestive mushroom joke, awful mushroom pun, or old meme reference.

I decided to remind everyone that we have all aged while reading this monthly manga.

Yyeah, I'm still faiiiirly annoyed by the mushroom sisters. I just don't feel like they've been sold to the reader well enough to justify the younger being this untouchable when fighting both John AND Engi, who both have a lot of heat built up.

Thanks as usual guys.
@YOLF I'm not a fan of the mushroom sisters too, so let's hope they won't take too much to deal with.

Thanks for the translation.
The fights are good, but the filler villain sisters are annoying, boring and plain.

I forget if it was ever explained in any tl notes on the old chapters, but Engi is based on the Japanese myth that if your first dream of the new year involves an Mt. Fuji, a hawk, and an eggplant, you'll have good luck that year. "nasu" means eggplant, hence Sannasubi and her nickname "eggplant lady". Also why she suggests Mt. Fuji as the "largest living thing in the world", and has triangular pupils. Then her hair looks like (hawk) wings.

apologies if this is common knowledge.
