Anyone else feel like this is being dragged out longer than it needs to be? How many times are you going to try to create drama from Mary refusing to tell Addie about her downfall?

Pacing is too slow, and story is too linear. You can use video game mechanics as a plot device, but give us a reason to be invested in this story. The set up makes you think this is going to be a story about recovering from the depths of despair, but no his personal conflicts get resolved almost immediately and then it's just generic isekai hero shit.

This is really generic. I suppose it's good it didn't double down on the angst, but there's nothing else here.
