I hope she actually kills them. Far too often that threat is throne around but not actually carried through. At the very least she needs to cripple them for life.

That's quite an interesting start. It's rare you get to see a story where the undead are put to a less destructive use. I do wonder if she's imply animating the body or if she's enslaving the person's soul.
