I hope that Rokudou will give up on using those beads on Ranna. I understand wanting to. Given what she did to the monk after just one year of good behavior he may not survive after she recovers from the influence of the charm. However, I don't believe wanting to brainwash someone such that you drastically change who they are and claiming to care for them goes together.

@Levelmore That's probably what will likely happen. I think this arc is essentially going to touch on the brainwashing of the seal. Rokudou will eventually realize that the Gremlin is no different from his seal only it's made worse because it will be Rokudou's choice to use it on Ranna thus resulting in Rokudou to abandon the idea. Of course with this new revelation Rokudou would probably risk the danger by removing everyone's Gremlin to give them freedom only for (at least) Ling to be brainwashed by the seal in the end.
