When you do twists you're not supposed to do 3 every chapter. Something needs to be satisfying here and besides that bunny suit this has really sucked the joy out of this series. Ever since we got "Snape was a good guy" bs.

This opening feels so familiar. I’m curious if the author is going to make the father likable the next time around or something. Still don’t get how a child clearly raised around the father could ever be mistaken as fake...

The story I'm sure works better this way. But I really wished she was an actual murderer in self defense. The scene was really awesome though.

@Cloy552 oh okay been awhile. Whenever they don’t say their name I assume we don’t know them.

The whole chapter was setup for the pay off smoothly and then gets interrupted by the worst thing you can do. Interrupted cliff hanger with a new character.

Seems pretty overkill to basically cripple the dude secretly. Though he did intend to do the same back.

Why do you know things when you are a knight who has to fight these exact monsters???
