This kind of cookie doesn't need a lot of cooling time, just made some recently. A few minutes are enough to pour the jam and stick them together. You have to be more careful if they're still a bit warm, but spreading the jam does work better if they're still a bit warm.

Afaik this manga will follow the LN, so no worries about that part.

Leather Mail could be something like leather armor with some mail parts attached onto it, that's a real thing from medieval times, because it needs less time to make than a whole chain mail and can use worn-out mails, too.

I'd say that Galatea is her mother and died or something and he's just bad with people, especially after the mother passed.

@RavelGuy i think by now it's safe to assume, that Mary is actually MC's reincarnated sister. Everything else doesn't make any sense.
