I think the issue with Litia is that she's still viewing everyone around her as book characters and not as actual people. She means well but she seems to view everything as a fan who wants her favorite characters to have better endings.
I've always thought it's a bit amusing how quickly it got changed from Kyuu-chan eating cat food to human food. I think it does make for more adorable stories this way though.
