@BCS I agree, Onii-chan et-al has no spoken English equivalent. Obviously it can be translated as 'big brother' but it is so not spoken English. 99% of readers would understand the Japanese phrase is a respectful address, and, for me at least, it jars a hell of a lot less.
Umm... aren't these two in their 2nd year? Manabu is swatting for 'finals' as a practice run for next years real deal. Unless I've been asleep and missed a whole year?
Well, that answered my dejavu dilemma from last chapter.
Between this series, the Quintuplets thing and We Never Learn, there's a few long running manga where the MC is ignoring a lot of romance opportunities with beautiful girls just in order to pass some exams. Dumb asses.
@qelix: MC is mainly interested in protecting her modesty from the gazes of other guys.
Strange how he refers to Megumi as 'Amano' when talking to her mother. I thought the default when discussing family members amidst the family was to use given names so as to avoid confusion.

@s07195 thankyou from me too!
On another note - Hotaru says she has nothing to offer to kill an hour or so, as she rests her breasts on the kotatsu :)
(sorry to bring the tone down to the gutter)
@nod You've done your homework well! Thanks for that summary : it helps keep the story straight in my memory.
To others: Fucking in and of itself is over-rated. It's the getting there that makes it all the sweeter. (imho)
@ovdose My thoughts exactly - what a nice turn of events!
@orochijes I would argue that we got the better view regardless of seethroughness, Yabe missed out!
Off topic, but Mu-kun is still appending 'san' to his wife's name even when they are in private. Is that normal?
Have since read Futari Ecchi ch 136 which explains it is very couple dependent: if it's what they are comfortable with, they use honorifics. Maybe if their upbringing is on the more...
