Off topic, but Mu-kun is still appending 'san' to his wife's name even when they are in private. Is that normal?

Have since read Futari Ecchi ch 136 which explains it is very couple dependent: if it's what they are comfortable with, they use honorifics. Maybe if their upbringing is on the more formal / polite side of the spectrum?
