@kronix - agree, there's a Chinese yuri webcomic (Magan and Danai?) where the real life author and her girlfriend (who the characters are based on) have done a before and after photo of their makeup. And you can see just how makeup, when done well, can totally change a face.

I think I read this in conjunction with Peephole (which was also a bit of a fun trip.) This manga does throw a bit of psychology right from the start, and if you can get through that, it's a great read through.

Popular host (with masochistic/sadistic streak?) Check. Typical MC and girlfriend/really nice friend combo who bonds just before they die/win? Check. A method to prepare death if rules are not followed? Check. Smart guy(s) and gal(s)? Check. Sporty athletic guy? Check. Random chick death to...
