@Chuepomi I'd find him more sus if he already understood why she has to play the games she's playing. Rather, he strikes me more as competent, since as prince/king he would need to be able to quickly figure out who's sincere and who is playing games as well as how best to work the quid pro quo...
I love how Lippe just takes that self-sacrifice and just punts it over the horizon.
@enyoteremchi my guess: The father gives no craps about his wife, besides sex and making an heir, or the daughter, after all the "important" one is the son and he's in critical condition all the time and needs...
@Primetimecrime not to the brother, but Pops seems to be of a different opinion, seeing as he stopped him from putting his foot through the door. Obviously the power tripping sadist gives no shits, but he's not in charge.
Puberty hit her like a truck and then swung back around to drop a 747 on her.
@L_Agache she'd look rockin' in one of the artificial hero suits. Heck, some military dress uniforms would be simply stunning.
I seriously thought for a moment that she came out in a bathrobe to flex her position as first girl.
@monkey123 gotta pull in the cash to pay for the ritzy new apartment somehow, amirite?
This combat pisses me off. It's a hallway but most of the action takes place in blank panels that are obviously bigger than what the pictures hallway would allow. Space is so damn slaved to the whims of the author/artist that the TARDIS is getting jealous.
@HDMI1 I think it is a high rank one...
So either Pops been on the line the whole time listening to skin on the mic and party in the background, or she magically titty dialed her husband. I honestly think both are equally possible.
@Tersione same, I thought she was gonna be complaining about the cold to create cuddle opportunities but keep getting wrapped up in more and more extravagant/ridiculous coats/warm things.
Good to see where Kiki gets his charming hobbies from.
@rkkn I feel like it's the norm in a disappointingly large number of places though? Especially as you head back in time?
@Primetimecrime It's worth remembering that property is worth more than she is. A shattered and/or burning door is also much more visible than easily hidden bruises and psychological damage.
