This manga is being super barebones. They are passing by all the story moments and there isn't even filler. We don't even get to know the characters anymore. A bio and it's off to dialogue on a trade deal or village management.

At some point they're just taking advantage of him. And I understand they want to go to a famous well off village , but she shows up in full dragon form and taunts him. Why are dragons such a-holes? The daughter was planning to burn down the village, the wife wanted to kill him for defending...

Is there even a chance Alice's mom isn't the witch that cursed him? Or maybe she died from his curse?... A first victim trying to defend him after some other witch cursed him.

How dare he doubt Anzu? How amazing her personality is can only be compared to Hitomi's skills.

This is one of my favorite chapters of anything I've read. It's just real human struggle... It hurts me every time. Anzu and those guys deserve better... (Every chapter they're in.)

This feels like an office administrator's telling of how their town was built with footnotes on the people's daily lives. I am sticking around but there is less and less story every chapter.

Is this getting axed? Did the mangaka just say, "f this, I'll do what I want"? Was it a joke? I don't know what's real right now.

Wait... Does he not have contract on him? It sounds like the dad has a problem with his (assassin) daughter dating someone normal, but not someone they have been contracted to kill. I hope the mangaka learns to write with more internal consistency, because it's a bit sloppy.

I agree... Why is there a whole chapter on getting scammed? (Into buying 33 breeeads) Super easily too, no resistance and even dove head first. Even if they somehow become important (baker's family), it's an odd chapter.
