@flannan I think the task his teacher gave him was to "take down an enemy w/o slashing". The teacher probably meant for it to be metaphorically, not literally. Like talking it out to prevent the need to use violence in the first place.
@Myllari123 Tama has this M shaped pattern on his head which may or may not be a tell of a behemoth. Leo looks exactly like Tama, accept every depiction of him has his forehead obscured. So you may be right. Maybe Leo is Tama's dad or something.
@ The_Smile Not nervous but scared. She must have some sort of trauma with her siblings. The siblings are probably monsters only metaphorically speaking.

I don't know if this covers it, but on pg 18 it stated "the material enhances the wearers magical defenses". So maybe it is like a stat boost, or item effect through magic or game-like system. Maybe the effect directly enhances the users natural magical defenses...
The agreement was for betrayal, not success. He specifically mentions she didn't have to kill him. If she was smart she would have agreed to the betrayal but demand payment up front (a down payment in the least). So that even if she failed, her or her mother would not be hounded by debtors. And...
Why base the anatomy of a dragon off of a deer or boar? Wouldn't a bird, lizard, or bat make more sense? Birds have a large bone plate on their chest to serve as an anchor for all the muscatels needed to flap their wings. If this wants to be anatomically correct, then he just pierced through...

In the noble society, the first appearance in a ball/party could be seen as their debut to noble society. It is their chance to give a good first impression to the elites of the country, and make connections. Leaving a bad impression would be a stigma that would haunt the MC in...
@Elmithian The hips I understand. Wide hips allow for more room to birth a child and result in less complications.
@MonsieurQuack this is new to me but I bet it has to do with the climate we were adapted for. Cold air passing through the nostrils are heated before entering the body/lungs...
@Talh We are also ignoring the fact that he just stacked all the wood outside, uncovered and unprotected form the snow. I guess this was unavoidable because of the space need to store all of it. But he also stacked them high like sky scrapers making it really difficult for ppl to get any of...
@scripted Hahaha I saw it too and it confused me for a min. It is how the artist drew the perspective. The guy on the far side looks closed barbecue of his size, and the seam for the start of the back of the closer horse blends in perfectly with the other.
