Actually, some webtoons get absolutely destroyed by the "compressed images" option, especially the ones where groups upload images with a 1:100 aspect ratio. You see complaints about it from time to time in the support/bug boards
Edit: also didn't an error cause countless data saver...
Can you see the image? Has the browser presented it to you such that the pixels are all in the right place and you can read it? Then bots can download it. The only way to make it difficult or impossible for a bot to fetch the image is to make it difficult or impossible for a human to read it.
What I'm hearing is a request for a feature for an incredibly small fraction of the userbase, which requires manual maintenance (flagging individual chapters as "side" chapters or flagging each series as having fractional chapters or not), would encourage people to rob themselves of possibly...
@Duralumin
If what you're asking is to block all of a group's uploads of a certain series but only that series, there was a thread a little down the page titled "Filtering chapters according to Group in "Follows"" (it was rejected due to being a logistical nightmare)

A few of the details don't match, but was it this?

Edit: thanks database desync, you're a real pal
@bigtiddyoneesan
@Shiggle
Going by this post there is, or at least was. Never underestimate a human's ability to completely block out all text they don't personally think they have to read.
I mean, anyone who has been in this subforum for more than a minute knows about this phenomenon (sticky...
@TjapDjemboet
The top chapter/manga widgets specifically cut off at 10. A mind-boggling amount of titles update every given day, so a widget for that would involve a lot of scrolling.
If you main issue is that even in a list sorted by last update you don't want to use your eyes to see that...
