Did we really need this flashback right now? we have hardly known this lady long enough for her to warrant a flashback, even if it involves the Master. Right now he is just a generic mentor figure who died, I would be more invested if the MC's relationship with the Master was explored more...

Man I hate the emperor but the mother is not really doing herself any favors here with the "don't hate your father" bullshit. But really liked this flashback arc.

Maybe they poisoned him and told him they would only give the antidote if he brought them? lol. Anything to make sense of the situation. Right now Ogi seems kinda stupid.

@jak - I don't remember the exact points in the story but I don't think this is the first time something like this has happened. He also got the White Haired Lady killed (MC's master, don't remember her name). Also usually he acts and talks like a gentle person but as soon as something happens...

I feel like even if they are using machine translations, if they made a little more effort they could have made the individual sentences make more sense and make them flow better overall as it's easy to understand what the author is going for even if it's not the most accurate translation. As...

@Antairan I like the slow progress between the MC and the Sensei, as long as the focus remains on them it's fine but with the addition of new characters I just think it might shift the focus away from the. But then again I could be wrong, as initially I didn't like where the author was going...

For now this serialisation plotline seems totally unnecessary, I hope the author can make this work.
