@Me I can't help but think that OVA Birdy would have had this case cracked five volumes ago.

Gomez is such a Gary Stu. I'm not surprised he's working with Irma. Both are annoying author pet characters that only gum up the plot. And why did Birdy think interviewing some low-level employee is going to tell her something that stealing one computer didn't?

This chapter really just reinforces how unnecessary the time skip was. @IronClad That's a good interpretation, but later in the series we are shown that the Federation actually really does want to find Revi for pretty serious reasons, which makes the timeskip even more baffling.
