Gomez is such a Gary Stu. I'm not surprised he's working with Irma. Both are annoying author pet characters that only gum up the plot. And why did Birdy think interviewing some low-level employee is going to tell her something that stealing one computer didn't?

@LouWohl I think we've firmly established at this point that Birdy's cunning wit isn't why they hired her so much as her ability to turn every problem into a nail that needs hammering.
