@N0Mi0 I was thinking about chess. Wasn't sure how much more complicated shogi would be. Used to play a bit of chess, but was never very good. Took like, half a year of casual classes or something. Couldn't memorize where all the pieces were on a board and replay them in my head though.

Memorizing a shogi board and being able to play through different moves in your head feels pretty impressive to me, but then again, I've never played shogi.

The reason they're unpopular is because they're somewhat bitter. I'm guessing the raws (which I can't find) refer to ピマン which you could certainly call a green paprika since they're bell peppers, but it's kinda different from what Japanese call パプリカ paprika which are red/yellow in supermarkets...
