The Naruto anime had a lot of fillers, but it was good overall because most (barely) of the episodes were canon since the manga was serialised weekly and started 3 years before the anime. Boruto on the other hand, is serialised monthly and started on May 2016. The anime started on April 2017...

90% of the episodes are filler. Good try though.
