Their relationship feel so incredibly fake now, they never had the chance to build one up to begin with so them acting like an actual couple feels awful.

God it would've been so much better if they weren't seperated during the time skip, time skips are really hard to pull off and barely makes it better if you do it right, please people, don't do time skips AFTER separating a couple (while both are alive).

I don't really like huge timeskips like this, well have to see how it plays out, but they usually don't turn out well.
