Looks like maybe there might eventually more backstory for cyclops guard lady. Also, I /think/ that’s supposed to be a childish smile on the kid that sees Heath’s tail, but it could just as easily be a “oh, it’s a monster. I’m doomed.” Sort of a lol of despair.

Pretty cliché, but the execution is quite competent, so it should be satisfying even if it sticks with genre conventions. Really want it to develop beyond that though, static characters are only so interesting, and I've seen the broad strokes of this stuff before.

Chiming in with another vote for the ability to "follow" authors and/or artists, or set up some kind of alert at least if they start work on a new title. I was reading Shomin Sample, which got the ax, but it was kind of charming, I'd still love to see what else the author or artist might come...

Dunno what the other commentors have a problem with, it reads just fine if you binge it. The pacing would be all wonky if it was faster. Kudos for the mangaka for having the plot laid out well in advance.

It's so refreshing to see serious, realistic obstacles like immigration concerns actually addressed in a fantasy manga. Much better than superficial "economic" concerns handwaved away or neatly packaged away as mere conceptual difficulties some faceless people are facing.

This is actually surprisingly good for what could have been just a quick joke oneshot.
