In spite the whole cultivator to fantasy isekai has to start from a weak body, but with tons of knowledge to make all the adults spit-take and fight over MC.
I actually like this one. Cultivator terminology is still confusing as ever.
Is this how the author imagines working at a 7eleven is like?
Manning a 24/7 store where customers visit at awkward times to have their meat zapped by the warm lights and getting angry when they leave a mess.
In "kicked from my party" stories, those MCs worked hard at everything else outside of combat and provided combat support, only to be kicked by a near-sighted leader.
This is the opposite, this guy does nothing and gets picked up by a leader with some brains.
It was previously mentioned that bandits are smart enough not to mess with a convoy of knights. So, these are probably the source of that bloody letter (ch.26).
On a different note: Begone Archduke THOT!
I'm rooting for the king, that lady, and her family to succeed with the marriage plans and keep him far away from Chloe.
@JWChibi Now that you mention it, this does feel like the base novel of an isekai. Inception vibes.
Darnnit author, don't write unambiguous prophesies at the end. It ruins the storytelling when you write the end first and try to funnel your narrative to match it.
Moreso when we all still hate his guts.
