Could be, but I think he may just not give a shit. He already maxed both swordsmanship and magic before. Why should he care about 2 adventurers who also are also full grown ass men, and are showing off / picking fights on literally a beginner's rank fetch quest like they did something impressive or something. Thay basically are showing how big of cowards they are and how desperate they need this kind of work so that they don't have to resord to anything slightly more risky/difficult. That they are so desperate, that they resort to over working so as to lower the amount available to be collected, so new adventurers fail and wont take their "easy and safe" source of work.

To MC, they are a couple of pushovers. He already has done more impressive shit before he even entered the adventurer's guild building. His interest right now is to just do whatever. His mindset is of someone who literally cant be stressed anymore because what exists to cause him any? He has more ability than anyone shown yet and is extremely resourceful with his knowledge of basic combat fundamentals. His only weakness is his grasp of common knowledge and of how things work, which is only temporary.

@Kanol : Depends on if they regrow or no not, some plants can recover if the roots are left, and there were likely seeds left behind anyway. Plus Lime might not have covered that much of the forest.

The likely worst case just means the adventurers need to do "real" work for a while, which I doubt they can or want to if they are hogging the easy tasks, and bullying out newcomers.

Next he gets a female companion, next the newbie bullying scene, next the slime is good at finding things, next next next no time for the characters to react or think or have any motivation for their actions, just keep checking off those isekai tropes
