@rabidfish that acknowledgement of similarity is itself character development. This manga has shown that the clear combination of ambition and action is capable of fueling tremendous growth, which is why Iruma served as the perfect motivation for the two incompatible characters to synchronize.

@Zephyr247 as with the Harvest Festival arc, the manga made it clear that the misfits (specifically ruma) would end up winning, but the story itself dwells more on the how part rather than fact that they happen.

@cryum I'd like to think that demon world puts effort into polishing their rhetorics much like how magic and melee has evolved in this manga. At the very least, Lugner is far more eloquent than any other demon we've come across. Imagine a demon school dedicated to the recital of melancholy words...
