@allenjke In the book and movies all three of the hunters try to get Koyomi at once, but Meme swoops in and saves him before any of the hunters can touch him.

@allenjke This is adapting the Kizumonogatari book/movie. This encounter with Episode and GC does go differently in those versions.

Yeah, kizu is told entirely from Koyomi's perspective in the novel so this sort of interaction couldn't be shown.

@kazu19 The impression I always had of GC is that he was the primary strategist of the hunter trio. He is just a human after all and wouldn't have much to offer physically in comparison to the other two. As you said he doesn't even actually fight Koyomi. So Oh!Greats depiction of him as a guy...

Not really a fan of this cutaway to Hanekawa crossing paths with the vampire hunters. Guillotine Cutter's weapons feel unnecessary as well considering what his actual role in the story is.

@SapphireDemon Its been implied pretty subtly for a while, but this is the most upfront I think they have been about it.
