So... I just discovered this exists by mere chance and I'd like to get some clarification.

I'm familiar with the anime of this series (in fact I just watched the entire Monogatari saga for the very first time barely weeks ago) and I have no idea of what this is supposed to be.
Is it a complete re-imagining of the saga? A reboot? A manga adaptation of the anime or something closer to the original light novels (which I never bothered with)?

I browsed few of chapters quickly and what I can tell so far is just that the art is very good and that the order of narration seems to be all over the place compared to what I remembered from the anime.
