@jackty89 Manga changed from a monthly to a bi weekly release, so we're 6 chapters behind. I at least have the translations up to chapter 9, so it's just a matter of getting them redrawn and typeset.
@alu The word in Japanese is Dai Kyoukai (大教会), Kyoukai being church, dai being big. As to how I got to Cathedral.
ca·the·dral
/kəˈTHēdrəl/
noun
the principal church of a diocese, with which the bishop is officially associated.
@Sturdy This chapter doesn't show up in the web novel (Might show up in the light novel), so you can guess this is filler, around 3/4s of the chapter is.
@AFresherPerspective Proofreader asked about it since it does sound weird, but that's legitimately what he says in japanese. It sounds equally as dumb in either language if you're wondering.
@reen112 The amount of time is unclear from the manga and I'm not sure if the novel says the exact amount of time, but it's at the very least 1 billion years. This was said a few chapters ago iirc.
Squeak puns, the manga.
For those wondering, the squirrel's dialogues just end with -risu or some variation of it instead of -desu. Risu meaning squirrel btw, hence the puns in the translation. Think of it as puns with -nya or other animals.
@Gravewind I just updated that error and a couple more that someone pointed out. Sorry about that inconvenience, the uploader didn't let me QC the chapter before publishing :/.
@bakauguu No, all of those also happen in the novel, they just explain his worries better. The game had a ranking system as well it seems, so in his mind C rank in this world is F rank for his standards and he hasn't quite processed that. Novice's stats are so bad that he will consider himself...
@bakauguu Rhetorically. Also, in the web novel, she does intentionally send him to the army spear mice forest and apologizes for it. In the manga, it looks like it was a proper mistake. To add to your "I'm op, but I will forever think I'm weak" setting, this chapter is meant to show that he is...
@EnderWin
1. Armor is heavy and restrictive. Their plan was to get in and out quickly, so armor would just slow them down. Plus, I assume they wore their masks outside or near the store, which is easy to conceal and they'd look like a normal person while walking to the jewelry. How can you...
@bgdanea It's from a manga called Tono no Kanri o Shite Miyou. Not sure which volume it is from though, or if it's from an extra, in which case, you gotta buy the volume.
@icantnotthink Part 1 of the next chapter comes out on Christmas, but I still don't know whether I'll do the full chapter or divide it in 2 just yet. So I guess sometime next year probably.
@Blacklight100 You may be limiting yourself by just thinking in terms of youkai; The story never uses that term after all. I'd look through modern urban japanese stories for more references, since Yae herself is an urban legend, not a youkai. If you're wondering, the kanjis used literally...
Btw, the note I left has a slight error. Saku is a measurement of 30.3 cms, feet are 3.48 cms. Not that it matters though, ain't no one gonna start measuring with that shit. But yeah, I want no smart ass comments about it.
