It really frustrates me when authors just make characters unbelievably stupid to serve some singular purpose. In this case, they just want to stir up drama for the sake of drama.

@skyscar I think it's probably fine to continue with imperial censor. The actual office was the "Censorate". I guess investigating censor is the title that wikipedia favors, since the word censor implies working for the imperial family.
