Thanks for the chapter. I didn't notice it under all the Ukranian translations. I've said it before but I really do prefer the character dynamics here than in the remake. Birdy isn't a dumb muscle and Tsutomu isn't petulant for the sake of it. They also seem to be more balanced here instead...

They really get things moving.

Why is there a succession problem if there are apparently enough noble houses left to be a concern for that Wyrm guy? Just pick one.

I like that the plot is picking up, but Tsutomu and his friends are still a drag on the whole manga. All they do is have redundant conversations, nag Birdy not to do anything, and then get mad when she doesn't do anything.

@Ironclad I wish they found a better way to reveal all of this besides putting it at the end of a conversation between tertiary characters. Tsutomu's friends have been nothing but dead weight for most of the manga, but at least the story is finally picking up.

@Ironclad Now if only Tsutomu and his friends could stop having expository conversations.

Finally we see the Empire! And Nakasugi actually become important to the plot.

@IronClad Before Tsutomu was a wet blanket who was as needlessly cautions as the plot needed him to be to prevent Birdy from actually trailing suspects. Now he's just a vengeful psychopath who doesn't care about consequences, especially to Birdy, which is what irks me most about this series...

And now Tsutomu just wants to break everything regardless of collateral damage.

@Redwaterflowing I like the development, I just wish it was portrayed more consistently. Tsutomu mans up every few volumes or so to show how serious things are getting, but goes back to being a Nervous Nelly until it's time for the next serious moment. At least this time it's actually part of...

Ever notice how Tsutomu is a wet blanket until it's time to advance the plot, and then he has his token "I'm angry and determined moment" before going back to normal? Well at least they're finally doing something with it, even if he's just become more of a liability for Birdy.

@sillyshark How hard is it to say "Ship, read my coordinates and open a gate 30 feet in front of me"? Federation technology seems more than up to the task.

Come to think of it, is there any reason why Birdy can't just use her ship to open a gate into the building?
