Edit: oh wow I remember coming across this a long time ago but the chapters weren’t getting translated. I totally forgot about this and thought it was a series I never read before lol. Also, people said the mc isn’t beta? Seriously? I usually don’t care about beta or alpha arguments because it’s stupid but to think this MC is a chad in any way is pushing it. He’s emotionally unstable and despite being in his 20’s he acts like a teenager. If he was half a proper interesting character he would have laughed at the situation, called them money loving whores, and told his dad to fuck off. Now, this is not to say a proper male would disregard these bride candidates as money loving whores, but someone as unstable as him doing that would be entertaining and much more fun instead of watching this guy just getting raped by a bunch of women.
And now he wants to meet the girl who hurt him but is getting wooed by the same money lovers he despises? I think there is a lot going on and that his father is a piece of shit that manipulated her into never contacting him again. But the MC needs to grow up and get half a brain. The wealth and power is wasted on him if he keeps up this shit, because he’ll end up used and manipulated all his life at this rate.
The sad thing about him is he realizes people only want him for his money and in his weakest moment no one was around for him to take comfort in as a result of no proper developed relationships. There is presumably no mother in this situation. Presumably no sibling. Of course, no proper friend. And his father is a piece of shit who we know for a fact does not care about him (although it’s stupid this is contradicted by the fathers insistence on the Mc’s role in the future of the company when he can just make another heir instead). The only one who seems to care is the maid but she was not in the picture until now cuz he didn’t even know who she was. So of course his stupidity is excusable to some extent. But for him to wallow in his own pity for so long only to still be this love struck and hormone raging 20+ year old is a waste of potential. He could be edgy, or mindbroken, or some other extreme character trait like sadistic. I don’t care how realistic or unrealistic it may or may not be. This is a shitty series that can do whatever the hell it wants for our entertainment. But instead we get a dumb cliche harem MC trope. Welp

Honestly, if this actually wants to be a social critique like Tamerlane suggests, it shouldn't make its target group be horny guys (or girls who are into this, we don't discriminate) who only care about the sex scenes, that seem to be 90%+ of the content anyway.

There are so many reactions, and most of them only focused on one but vary points... But above all I do know most of them hunger for the uncensored version.
As for me, I don't mind, having uncensored ones will only going to weaken my imagination. Another story if it is a hmanga, where it deems pretty much necessary.
Because this is pretty much seinen-like or slice of life-like to me; for now, I'll see how the story goes, its still early for me to say anything since I am new to this story.
Honestly to say, I got caught off guard when smut is present, I totally didn't expect that since I didn't check the tags properly.
