1/2 Prince - Vol. 16 Ch. 80 - Kenshin (Part 3)

Never really bothered to comment before, but man did this series go downhill once everything went to the real world in terms of fighting and stuff.

This series is like the titanic, started off fantastic, hit an ice berg and never recovered and eventually sank.

what a fun ride though even when it went down hill

This is the captain of the Titanic speaking, it has been a honor being here on my super expensive sinking ship that was not funded with my own money. I hope you all enjoyed the voyage and hope that hell has only one spot and that spot belongs to me. These past ... uhh *looks at calendar* years (i guess) have been one heck of a ride, hope the ice berg didn't sink your enjoyment, because it didn't ruin mine.

At least the first half of this series will be something to reread.

Wow look at all these people salty about the ending. And for good reason! Yu Wo is not the best at ending series. She almost maintained quality all the way to the end with Sun Knight, and KNM was trash from the beginning to end (my favorite of her series btw), but it wouldn't be a Yu Wo series without the classic Yu Wo ending! I'm reading the translations of her other novels rn, and I'm hoping they are better! Or if not, I'm just as interested in seeing how disappointed I'll be...

Yeah really liked this series but agree with others the ending and focusing on real life terrorist attacks kind of ruined the story.

I like how the author ended the series by making it come full circle. The last few chapters were confusing because of the constant recaps. I've been following1/2 Prince since only five chapters were out on OneManga.com so many years ago. That's about a decade ago in 2008. It was a fun ride.

Finally read the ending after stopping when the real world fight finished. Was as shit as I thought. Turned out to be so wacky that I am actually glad I stopped when I first read this a few years ago lest the disappointment hindered me from rereading the good chapters at the start.

you know what. I really appreciated these last two volumes. If it had ended in that insanely rushed last chapter before the flashforward, I would be very dissatisfied. But the first volume tied up a few loose ends on what the hell actually happened in that last chapter, and this volume automatically gets an A+ because it ends with Kenshin, best boy.
