100-nin no Eiyuu o Sodateta Saikyou Yogensha wa, Boukensha ni Natte mo Sekaijuu no Deshi kara Shitawarete Masu - Ch. 21

I wonder how many panels this manga has where there's someone who isn't smiling. Surely it could at least be counted on at least one hand, right?

Page 21: "Ah yes, I've already gotten my hands on a room for you."
They're going to have to share an inn room, due to them being mistaken for a couple.

Everyone is happy go lucky, I guess this is what peace looks like when there's no demon lord plotting to destroy the world.

So, catching a notorious gang of bandits is only worth "a few nights in the inn" for two adventurers? Well, it's better than nothing, but seems more symbolic than "solving problems with money". Barely compensates the time spent fighting the bandits and reporting to the guard.

That was nice. Ducking the slash and capitalizing on the positioning by stabbing the foot followed by electrical goodness. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a well thought out response to an attack. Practical, clean, and vicious

Could be totally off, but
I still dun trust David even from this sml bit. Seems like one obvious possibility, what with 'planted issues' on the wagon itself, use of the bandit roads-- maybe just purposefully picking one likely route to have an encounter, or even more directly hiring them (whether specifically or like 'just hit every marked merchant passing by on x day or something); or true, it could be luck and isolation is finally starting to get to me 😂😂😅😒😢
Followed up with the ready prepared rooms and whatnot, which, yeah, could just be a nice gesture in payment from a company, or they could be alterations to a 'celebration' originally planned.

....
Yeah, I think I need some sleep at least....
Still dun know about trusting him though....

thanks for the translation! I love how the fight is so quick, it really shows how strong our MCs are

attacks on the foot are so underrated. like, look at Kungfu Hustle's Toe Crusher. that would be extremely effective on anyone without some form of foot protection like magic or sabatons (foot armor), especially if done by someone with an armored foot.
