Page one is a pretty obvious translation error. Im guessing the word gohan was there and you just directly translated it as rice when it can either mean rice or a meal depending on context. (Dont speak japanese or know much at all but that is one thing i know)

it was indeed simply " rice" but asa, hiru, or ban was't their and it wasn't yakimeshi or cha-han so i was like, maybe just any kind?
Ill go back to change it to "we can go for a meal" to sound better
