Just what is the point of the brother's character ? He appears like 2 times, and has no importance what so ever.

@mukade I believe the older brother was there to be the actual older brother and breadwinner. If you notice, the money Rujin earns is not enough for them to continue living there. The girl doesn't work in a job that earns a lot and it looks like she only works a part time. You need two full time works to be able to survive decently in a house of 3 people.
