So page 7, second to last panel, basically Puchinella tells Mare that Demiurge forced the captive citizens from the Kingdom arc to breed with each other, then he slaughtered and cooked the males and forced the females and other survivors (aka the elderly and children to young to be bred) to eat them due to starving them to death.

@HDMI1 Didn't Ainz order not to cause the captured humans any extra suffering? I seem to recall something like that. Maybe he should have first told his underlings what causes suffering to humans.

@Kaarme It's like a kid playing with ants, tbh. The demons have no idea what's harm and what's not. Technically, feeding them means that they are doing good, but they don't know that feeding them the corpse of their loved one is a no-no
