To be fair, neither version of this chapter got a decent translation.
Usual result of fallouts, get more versions of each chapters but quality drops..

Other one didn't even try to keep much content while "adjusting" to make readingflow smoother,
(edit: should probably add it might very well be a bit too hurried "adjusting" or w/e to make it read well and not necessarily intentional or anything.)
and this one's clearly way too hurried with the first couple of pages being especially problematic.
(edit: entire meeting part of this version is disastrous to be honest.)

Atleast you can get a decent idea of the actual content by reading both versions. =/

@Tarasios Which ever group has the better translation will win in the end. always strive to continually improve. Don't just compete with speed. Quality wins out in the end. years down the line, I will probably re-read the version that has the higher quality. if quality tanks too much, I might only read up to the first page before abandoning the chapter version. best of luck to the more passionate translator. honestly, passion is the biggest thing of all.

@LygarX in some case, yeah. Sadly most of readers prefer a fast release rather than quality, though in the end they fill the comments section into jar of toxic. But in WN case, it's far worse and lot of g-tl and unedited mtl dominate the hood. Maybe it's sounds like a grain of salt, but here they are

If you reread your own version, you should notice a fair bit of discrepancies of various degrees between the sentences and what's clearly going on.
Can just focus on the latter half after the meeting ended for your version, "as the princess you should become a gal" is a glaringly obvious one.
(Struggling a bit here with how to describe it, but after the meeting part your version frequently felt lacking in bringing the intent)
Personally didn't mind regular speech from the cat in your version btw, since that's only a matter of flair and not a matter of intent.
Although I'm probably too tired/busy/lazy to reread for the purpose of making a proper list, I'll still wish your endeavors well and a pleasant day!


For those that want to try reading this version and already did read the other,
recommend skipping the meeting part here since it's so horrid it won't really help with understanding the story anyways.

I'm often torn between translating literal or liberal. It's hard to make it perfect for all so I usually try to focus on comprehensiveness. Feel free to give me feedback regarding such things, as I always try to improve my translations.

If this manga wasn't becoming so horrible, I would bother to read the second translation...but I just can't even put in the effort.

I'm not sure the manga was ever great...but without Eliza, and with so much of the cat in these last few chapters

@elfalas Yeah I had a feeling that "gal" line was off. The original TL I got was "As the princess I should become a gal".
