They've al been 9 chapters each, to be exact. I don't see why this one would be different. Next chapter we find out why she feels she can't, then two working through it, and one with after they get together, if I had to guess.

I don't like the childhood promise, tbh. It feels cheap - if they made a promise as stupid kids, they must fall in love as adults!
It doesn't do justice to Mafuyu-sensei or her heavenly hips. Love her for what and who she is goddamit.

I believe, they had to reconstruct the story to put it like he was always in love with her.
I am not complaining, it's still fine. The other routes were also reconstructed at some point in the timeline.

The bad thing here is that to complete one's route they totally ignore the other female characters
They should have been put here
Also ngl only Fumino and uruka's route makes sense as those two routes were well driven but other routes especially asuka and ogata's route are executed very poorly
But tbh, I think they should have prepared a harem ending too just for the sake of fandom

@KiritoK98 I wouldn't say Uruka's route was well driven or made much sense. Just like every other route, it almost completely ignored the rest of the female characters, not to mention the last second flashback with hugeass information drop and ghost dad machina...
