@Laughing_Snake i agree. it seems like some pretty important parts of the story were just summed up in foot notes. I guess they just wanted to set up the background for the story and get it out of the way
From what I understood, this chapter implied this series' main romance would be between this new actually nice "heroine" and the cousin while the main character is trying to survive? I don't an issue with this. I actually like it quite a lot, but I feel I definitely got confused by the translation. An isekai from real Japan to game Japan is fun though.
Wow, holly, shit. The manga skipped like half the story. Are they going to go through it like flash backs? Or just leave it out entirely? I mean, never before have I seen such skippage of the source material, especially since it was integral to establishing the character settings.
@Laughing_Snake Maybe because it's an adaptation? It feels like this is a super condensed crash course in a story that already exists.
Still, I don't really like how the story jumps from place to place constantly, like how they just glossed over the mother's divorce, etc. It'd have been nice if they spent the time to build up to high school instead of just going bam bam bam bam bam we're teenagers now!!!
Oh hey you started posting here?nice!I like the translation it’s pretty decent!!
As for the manga, not so much I like the plot but the pacing is all over the place
The cover art feels like a scam lol it’s so pretty and then there’s the actual manga art,, I’m assuming the art used is the one from the novel cover but still it gets nice at the end actually but the art at the start is something else..
