The early chapter of the novel got cut super short which is sad. The story itself was a major plot on how their fate is changes but I guess theh decided to just cut it short directly to their highschool arc.

I read the novel and honestly, the childhood arc is sooo good. Much much better than the teen arc. It's so sad they cut the most interesting scenes....

i feel like i just read the same amount of content you get in a crashcourse video

ty for the tl!

yo is this like a summary chapter that tells in short everything is going to happen ahead or did they really swooshed through

Thank you for the translation! You did great!!

Wait so now there’s another heroine???? What happened to the half-sister then?????

i thought it was Oneshot
with the amount of info dump in my face
I thought it would end in one chapter
oh boy
I was wrong

This chapter reads like a season one summary rather than a chapter one. Info dump, choppy time skips, how did the mother and daughter even escape? Suddenly she's with her cousin, timeskip again it's so weird.

I remember reading the webnovel I think of this, they skipped a lot of the early stuff she did as a kid to set up the future and I think this manga adaptation is likely to suffer as a result.

This was so rushed that I didn't understand much. A lot of missing pieces, messy timeskips, relationships and we don't get the time to attach ourselves to the main characters. It's very chaotic overall, and not in a good way. Well let's hope it gets better in the next chapters.

Still, thank you very much for the translation!!

LMAO, a foot note was used to skip over like 5 chapters of the novel. good ones too.
SOOOOOOOOOOO much is skipped, like whole arcs.

Ya this pacing is...garbage. Like o hey we're essentially being held hostage by our father but don't worry we'll use this hole to escape and get help and now my mom divorced him and got re-married. The end. Except it was all done in 3 page so you don't feel anything. No build u[, no tension, no climax. Honestly what the heck is the author thinking? You don't get to skip this stuff and still hope to have an invested audience.

Oh, was gonna come here to talk about pacing. Seems people have already done it for me lol
Guess I'll go read the novel
