@omfganimal My understanding of the English is that Rena is saying there won't be any swordsmen among the people guarding the transport but that there will be three swordsmen at the exit of the tunnel. Those usages would be plural.

That chapter ending was hilarious though. Such a serious chapter and it backfired at the end, because he talked to much just like with wolfboy.

Rena really liked him in the romantic way, which is a bit weird. For Rubia hes mainly a personal knight and friend. Gilles just saw him as an interesting useable pawn for now. Succubus was also hinted to be an Illusion or had ulterior motives that are still unexplained.

Still a bit weird though with the romance in Renas line, cuz hes already dead, but oh well. People marry their Pillows and Figurines in our world too.

Oh in chapter 1 before the 1st revival of the Skelleton she was the 1st important person to him. He lived 20 years in the future after the Demon Lords spawned with Mistress Succubus. The red skinned and horned lady. She was hinted to be just an illusion or have used Skelly though by Isaac in an earlier chap.
