I'll be honest. This kind of laid back decision making is the way i feel about relationships. I've never been able to just settle down at all and this manga really seems to hit all the right buttons on my way of thinking about it. I mean, is it really that bad to just leave things to happen as they happen and to not like the feeling of being tied down all the time? I'm just trying to live my life and not have to deal with a lot of the shit that being in a full blown relationship brings.

Is it weird to think this is really nice and cute? Keep living your best lives <3

I love this manga. This is my idea of an adult relationship. Very real to life.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a very immature perspective on relationships? This is only desirable for the very young or very specific personality types. I don't think attitudes like this about real-life relationships are common at all.

@sad_historian I'd actually argue the opposite. It's more common/immature to treat romance and sex as a package deal, and joining a romantic relationship while wanting a sexual one. In this case, both parties understand what they want from the relationship and have effectively communicated that to each other, which is more mature imo.

I do feel like by the time the original series has happened, it's quite likely these two have developed...some sort of feelings for one another, but they absolutely resist labeling their relationship because they're both traumatized by their past relationships and don't want to feel tied down. It's not an impossible situation to happen, but it's also somewhat unclear and I could be absolutely wrong.
