Are you referring to chapter 148? I may have mentioned loose change and all, but making a makeshift blackjack or such and (poorly) increasing the mass of your fist are fairly different. I also barely remembered that scene enough to go looking for it after having read through the rest of the chapters following this one since the comment here, so I probably didn't remember it consciously at all when I posted that one. Honestly, I probably just said loose change here because it's something students might have on hand that would make a decent weapon out of a pair of stockings. You can pretty much use anything, rocks would work just as well.

It is a handy makeshift weapon which I had on standby, used rock though. During winters (7-11) years ago when I was in highschool, wolves used to go down the mountains/hillier area to my and surrounding villages. Not to mention lose dogs which might and might not be on my way home from bus station, it wasn't the safest area. Having to walk there during night, I always felt safer with it, just in case there were no trees to climb on. Luckily I never met wolves, doubt I'd be writting this here but I did meet few dogs. They kept distance and so did I.

@GroundDead Yeah, I think it's so effective they might even be illegal where I live if you got caught with one and the cop didn't feel like letting it slide with an explanation like yours. The wording is often ambiguous enough on what classifies as a particular weapon, so a cop could just have a bad day and slam you with some form of weapons charge because you brought a pocket knife of debatable specifications out with you on a fishing trip and they happened to pull you over and see it.
