Taking bets now. Either we get an extended, multi-chapter flashback/coma dream sequence where Deku masters all 7 quirks and then wakes up in the nick of time, or we get weeks and weeks of Bakugou-focused chapters while Deku becomes a background prop in his own series.

@kyrex you mean like, HxH current (and eternal) arc? Who knows... At this point, nothing can be right, there are multiple villains now let loose. I don't think the school can keep on working normally now, imagine if they return to classes next week, after all that fight, murder and destruction...it's gonna be a joke if they're worried about English lessons, and before they had to talk with their parents to let them stay, what now?

Midoriya can't keep up like this with his self destructive "style". The firefighters for example, they know that their own life matters too... I think he needs an appropriate master, all the warnings he received so far has been for nothing apparently.

Ok time for others to take center stage while Deku is out. Shoto and Kacchan would be more compelling as main characters anyways.

That's probably not happening. He'll be up soon enough. Or at least he should be. This leads to another topic. Is Recovery girl the only one of her kind with that healing quirk? Wouldn't it make sense for a lot of hospital staff to have something similar? I'd assume people with such abilities would seek jobs where they could be of use. If not, surely they'd contact her to come there? Eri could probably do it very easily as well. It's not believable that someone would stay comatose or seriously injured for very long with those two in the story. The author either has to use them or create believable circumstances where they can't help because otherwise I'm not buying it.

well damn when they said prison break they weren't lying... they really went to all of em omg 💀

i feel so bad for all the kids holy shit :(

also everyone had someone waiting there for them when they woke up except gran torino noooo i dont want him to be alone ;-; i'm just amazed he's alive tho

@Meepster The doctors are the Piccolo to his Gohan.

If we don't think about All Might.

@kyrex Given the volume's cover, probably the latter until Deku wakes up.

@Serenata You make it sound like he had any choice in the matter in the last fight.

@mirp448 I'm pretty sure All Might popped by, but Deku's the main concern.

Deadly anomalies, dangerous mutants, anarchists and bandits... None of them will stop Duty on its triumphant march towards saving the planet!

@Serenata: "Oh hey, everyone's involved in a hopeless fight and could all be wiped out in an instant if this guy touches the ground, I guess I'll hold back!"

Get serious. This wasn't training or a school tournament match. He was fighting the Big Bad's (supposed) successor after they roided him up, gave him an arsenal of overpowered Quirks, and set him loose to destroy to his heart's desire. What else was he supposed to do?

Half a dozen of prison breaks casually off-screened. It sometimes feels like AoF has more plot-armor than the main cast.

I think Deku's sleeping due to the other holders training him in their phantom world. He will be awakened with all the powers!

LMAO! Did anyone notice there's a bit of unfinished art in this? It took me a min to figure out why some of these panels felt off. It's 'cause they're reused panels, just zoomed in. What are Horikoshi's assistants doing?
