It seems people misunderstand. He didn't inherit all the knowledge from 5000 years of history, he inherited his persona. He acts and thinks exactly as the original would.

I don't think the two figures reflected in Raian's eyes are Edward and Xia, they are securely chilling in in the underground pool area. Why would they come up?

Given the height difference it might be both of the heads of Wu and Kure clans, since Erioh is the smaller of the two in his old age. Although I have no idea how he hadn't noticed it so far. The two have been standing side by side for a while now.

@xpt good points. imo, it could either be the heads of the two clans or Edward & Xia Ji came up because it's a special match.

Wu is so focused on killing he doesn't even care if he gets DQ'd for starting before the ref has given the ok.

Raian, meanwhile...
"Wait, a bunch of people from Reddit bankrupted some billionaire's hedge funds? How does that happen?"

Something's off about Raian from the start. His one-sided pummelling is backseating right now, and we've seen those defensive techniques before.
Is it possible that the year of fighting Ohma taught Raian the Niko Style, and Adamantite with it?
Something tells me that Ohma's massive power boost also affected Raian, and he's now amongst the most powerful Kengan competitor.
Either Alan's about to get his ass kicked, or Raian's going to demonstrate the epitome of strength.

@Jeriel :
It's with the logic that the purest one thing is, the better it is.
Idealization of the Master build the idea that he invented the best technique and each master only dull it by adding useless personnalisations.

It can be true when the philosophy change with time.
For exemple the karate learned today is very different of the one created at the origin. Because today it's a martial art used in a environment with specific rules which didn't existed before.

But in this case, where the philosophy stayed the same, there are more chances that the martial art got refined and became better with time.

Ohma lets Raian have a win lead because can you imagine how annoying he'd be if he weren't winning?

Looks like Xia Ji and Edward Wu to me. Remember when he said he's fine watching from the back until he find it necessary to be close to the arena? This is the time. One of them, at least. The second, just wild guess, would be the when Ohma's up.

People are forgetting that Reian is a hard head and didn't use Kure techniques when he fought Ohma. He's the only fighter we never really saw go all out.

Idk why people are having a hard time accepting that Raian tends to win more. This makes sense. Ohma’s Niko techniques are less effective the more Raian has had to deal with them (We establish this in the Ohma Cosmo fight, plus it’s common sense). Not to mention that Raian has his techniques and crazy Kure bloodline bodily strength.

It was funny seeing Ohma basically pouting when he admitted that Raian won against him more lol

Yeah I dunno why people don't believe Raian is better than Ohma still, it was very clear that during their OG fight he didn't go all out - just raw strength+speed from removal

@ThrystaVindr yea as of right now Raian is better than Ohma, but if there were to be a comparison between Raian using techniques vs Ohma never losing his memories and staying healthy, it's hard to tell who would win
