yes in the novel it's states that she slept with other men to get higher status. When confronted and tortured by MC, she says that she really did love him and only used the hero for status, nothing more. She also proceed to say that she's still in love with MC and to take her back. But ofc MC is now on that trap lord mentality and basically turns her into a demon as she belongs to the streets.
