yes in the novel it's states that she slept with other men to get higher status. When confronted and tortured by MC, she says that she really did love him and only used the hero for status, nothing more. She also proceed to say that she's still in love with MC and to take her back. But ofc MC is now on that trap lord mentality and basically turns her into a demon as she belongs to the streets. Also, he doesn't really kill the ex as he turns her into a ugly demon and is forced to search and fight the remaining demon king army thingy. This can indicate that she will eventually get tired to the point where she will die slowly and painfully. Also, a BIG spoilerish when MC encounters the hero. The hero believes that he took the saint's V card, which is false as mc was the one who took it.
