He literally just went out of his way to save the people of Japan and on top of it saved that pres from eternal sleep using his very precious elixir. Would you call that evil?
I believe that its how he acts when someone he cares about is threatened, which would actually be the opposite of evil.
That being said, I didn't read the LN so I guess he could become bad boi . Just doesn't seem that way
