A perfect demonstration of how important art is to a horror manga. The snarl on the ghost woman's face is just silly, and the reaction panel from the lady shows an expression that's more offended than anything else. Besides that, the moral is pretty childish (don't waste rice! a farmer performed backbreaking labor to make that!) and at no point was anything beyond private property in danger.
