Why yes, I am upset that the author pulled the rug out from under us. I heard the "Gotcha bitch" from the artist in my heart and soul as soon as we got that page turn. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Logically, both parties would realize from the wording that maybe more is going on here than meets the eye. (I'm assuming Ririsa/Lilysa used "好き" here, which lends itself astounding well to contextual backpedaling in Japanese as nobody bats in eyelash if you like/love your hobbies, but once that descriptor is applied to a person, it gets really real, real quick.)
